Welcome to Our Place NH

At Our Place NH, we believe home is more than four walls. It’s belonging. It’s dignity. It’s the freedom to grow, connect and thrive. Our mission is to create lasting housing solutions for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities — homes that honor independence while providing the support and community every person deserves.

A Home in Dover

We’re excited to share that Our Place NH has purchased our first property at 105 Durham Rd. in Dover. This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter for our community. Since 2019, we’ve been working to make this vision a reality — raising funds, building partnerships and preparing for the day we could offer a place to truly call home.

With your support, this house will soon provide safe, welcoming and empowering apartments for 11 adults with IDD. Renovations and a thoughtful addition will transform the property into a vibrant residence where independence and community go hand in hand.

This step forward is possible thanks to the partnership of the Strafford Economic Development Corporation, the Service Credit Union Foundation and countless generous supporters. Together, we are building more than housing — we are building futures.

We are excited to announce that Our Place NH has purchased its first property in Dover, NH to establish supportive housing for adults with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD). Since 2019, we have been raising funds and searching for the perfect location that would help meet our mission and the needs of future tenants.

We will continue to fundraise and seek grants and donations for renovations and the construction of an addition to the existing structure in order to provide a secure, nurturing, and empowering environment for 11 individuals to call home.

We thank the Strafford Economic Development Corporation for providing us with a loan, Service Credit Union foundation for their assistance with the down payment, and all of our supporters for helping us make this happen! - August 1, 2024
